Council Election 2025: Difference between revisions

This election is for the seven (7) Council positions of the Greater Washington D.C. Chapter of the Internet Society.
Four members will server for 2-year terms, three will serve for 1-year terms. Designation of term length will be based on order of highest votes with any ties to be resolved randomly. Those elected will serve as Council Members through the annual members' meeting of 2026 or 2027 respectively.
An Expression of Interest will be considered a self-nomination.
Only self-nominations will be accepted.
Only active ISOC DC members residing or working in the Greater Washington area are eligible to stand or vote. To be considered active, members will have participated in at least one of the Chapter events in 2024 and up to the AGM in 2025.

Deadline for EOI's was Sunday February 9th, 2025 15:00 EST.
Online voting will take place at the end of February into early March. (details forthcoming)
