The Greater Washington DC Chapter of the Internet Society is pleased to announce the results of the 2019 Chapter Council Elections. All 7 seats on the council were up for election this year with 10 highly qualified candidates running. Of those selected, 3 are returning and 4 are new Council members. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the great candidates that were not successful and look forward to their continued engagement as members. We will be convening the new council’s first meeting in coming weeks, where the Council will select the Co-Convenors, Secretary and Treasurer.

We are looking forward to working with this new council and our members to carry the work of the Chapter forward and continue to provide high quality programming and serve our community.
